I loved capturing Max and Hannah’s proposal! They are truly a super kind and beautiful couple and I am so excited to follow along their journey as an engaged couple.

How He Asked

Max told Hannah they were going to go on a boat ride at the Delamar Greenwich Harbor. His original plan was to propose in New York City, where they currently reside, and throw a surprise engagement party with friends and family, but couldn’t due to state restrictions. Max was still able to pull off the sweetest proposal and brought Hannah all the way up to Connecticut just so he could ask her to be his wife. His love and admiration for her is so evident, you could tell that Max really wanted to make this day very special and memorable. I can say without a doubt, he did just that! Even during a pandemic, he was so committed to making it happen. Hannah had no idea he was going to propose!!! I stayed visible at a distance and pretended to be a regular pedestrian just taking pictures of the view. During the planning stages, I instructed Max to take a selfie with her right before he gets on his knee so I know when it’s about to happen! I’m so happy I was able to capture the moment so perfectly! Not only did Max surprise Hannah with a ring, he had all of their close family members and friends to join them to celebrate their engagement.

How They Met

Hannah and Max are college sweethearts! They met at Emory University when Hannah was a freshmen and Max was a junior. As a couple, they have traveled and visited many places around the world including their favorite destination vacation, Israel and Croatia. They enjoy working out together and going out for sushi and movies for date night!
